Our story began in 1985 with a small chocolate shop in Diamond Creek, Victoria, which grew into Chocolatier Australia and became Chocilo Melbourne in 2017. Today our chocolates are made in our West Heidelberg factory, while our Ivanhoe shop handcrafts its own creations. How to order corporate Christmas gifts
- One address: order online. Our website takes one delivery address per order.
- Several addresses or gift card messages: email hello@chocilo.com.au and we'll send you our template to fill in with each recipient's delivery address and gift card message. Our team will then arrange delivery to each recipient.
- No minimum order: order as many or as few gifts as you need.
- Delivery cost: $20 flat rate Australia wide, or free on online orders over $125. Delivery costs on orders agreed via email are negotiable. Free click and collect is available from our Ivanhoe shop.
- Delivery time: usually 2 to 4 business days, and it can take longer in the weeks before Christmas.
- Last order date for Christmas: Monday 14 December, or by mid November for the NT, Queensland and WA.

Delivering chocolate over summer
Australian summers are tough on chocolate. Deliveries to the NT, Queensland and WA are paused from December to February because of the heat, so please order by mid November for those states. In warm weather we pack orders with ice packs, and in extreme heat we may delay delivery and let you know by email. Corporate Christmas gift questions, answered
What is a good corporate Christmas gift for staff?
Something small, good quality and easy to enjoy. A boxed chocolate gift, such as a gift cube ($6.95) or a 4 Pack Christmas Chocolate Assortment ($9.95), works for almost everyone and needs no wrapping.
How much should a business spend per person?
There's no set amount, and it depends on your budget and team size. One thing worth knowing: the Australian Taxation Office says you don't pay fringe benefits tax on an employee's Christmas gift if it's worth less than $300 per person and it would be unreasonable to treat it as a fringe benefit (ATO). Check with your accountant for advice on your business.
How early should corporate Christmas gifts be ordered?
As early as you can, especially for large or multi-address orders. Our last order date for Christmas delivery is Monday 14 December, or mid November for the NT, Queensland and WA.
Is there a minimum order?
No. You can order a single gift or one for every person in your business.
Can gifts be sent to several addresses?
Yes. Email hello@chocilo.com.au and we'll send you a template to fill in with each address. Online orders go to one address.
Can I add a gift card message?
